FAQs
To begin your therapeutic journey, reach out via phone, email, website or WebMd profile to schedule a free 15 minutes consultation. If after the consultation we decide to move forward you will receive an email to your own client portal where you will be able to complete all the necessary paperwork. After the paperwork is completed you will be scheduled for your first initial appointment.
The free 15-minute phone consultation is an opportunity for potential clients to ask questions. It also serves for us to talk briefly about the concerns that bring you to therapy.
During the first session, the clinician will conduct a Diagnostic Evaluation or Assessment. Evaluation will consist of providing the clinician with background information and what your goals for therapy are. This session will help to formulate a treatment plan that is designed for you to reach your goals.
For Telehealth therapy you will need a quiet and private area with good lighting for your telehealth visits. Please ensure your internet connection, video, and microphone are in good working order prior to your appointment.
The Sessions are 50 minutes long. A reminder about the session will be sent on the day prior. If after 5 minutes you are not present, Ascending Minds will reach out with a reminder. If the client is more than 15 minutes late then the session will not be held and must be rescheduled within the week to not be charged a no show fee.
